Hi, My name is Dheeraj Thakwani, A.K.A. Yamraj. I am a Digital Artist and Photographer based in India. I tell stories through my Photography and Digital Art.

My Journey

Technology and Willingness to learn everything are the main factors in my career. It started when I first got introduced to the world of computers. As a kid, it fascinated me how a simple connection of telephone internet can provide us with so much information and knowledge. Instantly, computers become my first love and hobby. I'm also a business grad.

Photography

Let's talk about my second love, photography. Photography has been a crucial part of my life since I can remember. I think it happened when I first put my hands on Dad's camera. What started as a fascination to learn something new and capture better shots than anyone else became a hobby of carrying my camera everywhere to capture moments, nature, and landscape. Slowly it turned into my passion which pushed me to collect money to buy my first professional camera. Using the exceptional power of the internet, I learned the basics of photography and filmmaking.

These self-taught skills led me to collaborate with various artists like SadBoiKobi, Sammy C, Lifafa, and even get my work featured on some of the biggest magazines and pages. Such as Canon, photoshop, travel India, Ig tones, beautiful Jaipur, Rajasthan Tourism, Travel in India, IRCTC, Enter Imagination, etc. Also, I got the opportunity to work for one of the biggest banks in India - AU Financial Bank.

In 2016, I opened my first company Film Ninjas.

Currently, my photography consists of Landscape and Architecture.

Digital Art

In 2016, I put two of my favorite things - camera and computer together to visualize my imagination through my artwork. My digital Art reveals stories from different genres. When you look at my work, you will feel a sense of connection to it. It gives a chance to look back and reflect on the things that we miss to usually observe due to the rush to complete the next task.

All the characters of my artwork are visualization of my imagination. When you observe them, you get a chance to explore my world that's unique yet connects with you and brings a sense of calmness and peace.
